Five of La Madriguera's eight room types look out over the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir: Suite La Madriguera, Cedro with a view, Laurel with a view, Caoba with a view and Cabin Roble Deluxe. All of them sleep two, include breakfast and are inside the town, a ten-minute walk from the main square.
What changes from one to the next is what is outside — terrace, balcony or deck — and whether there is water inside too, in a bathtub or a hot tub.

Do all the rooms have a reservoir view?
No. Five of the eight types face the water: Suite La Madriguera, Cedro with a view, Laurel with a view, Caoba with a view and Cabin Roble Deluxe. Laurel, Caoba and Familiar Nogal look out onto the greenery and the mountain.
Which room has a hot tub?
Suite La Madriguera, which has the hot tub next to its private terrace over the reservoir. It is also the one with the 2×2 King bed.
Which rooms have a bathtub?
Cedro with a view, with the bathtub inside by the window, and Laurel with a view, with the bathtub outside on the balcony. The Laurel room without a view also has a private bathtub.
What if the reservoir level is low?
The reservoir level changes with the rains and with how the dam is run, and it drops in the dry season. If you are coming mainly for the kayak, the paddleboard or a boat trip, message us on WhatsApp before you arrive and we will tell you how the water is looking those days.
